I'm Glad I Don't Get Paid to Watch YouTube Videos
And here’s why:
I love watching youtube videos. I watch youtube videos to procrastinate, to cheer myself up, to distract myself from whatever it is I might not want to be a part of at any given time. I choose to watch youtube videos until I reach that magical moment where I am compelled to watch youtube videos.
If I were paid to watch youtube videos, zoning out in front of my computer...
Midterm Tomorrow?
I have a midterm at 9:30 am tomorrow. It’s 9:57 am as I’m typing this.
I could procrastinate professionally, but if I found out it was something I needed to do I’d probably just put it off.
I was reading over the ol’ blog (since I haven’t posted on it in QUITE some time) and I decided that some of my old posts were pretty funny, if I do say so myself. Which I just...

I have created something like four successful start-up companies now. It might be five…no..six? It depends on how you count. I’m not particularly good at running businesses (or counting them) but I would say that I’m abnormally good at launching them. I’ve got my fair share of failures out…

LOST IS OVER...
And now we’re truly lost.
finals
2 hours allotted for the international finance final. took me 3 hours to complete it, which is ridiculous because i know and fully understand every concept covered in that curriculum. i could teach that class and probably answer any question you asked me.
so it must be true that a single test worth my entire grade can accurately reflect level of accomplishment with the subject, right?
it must...
Wonder what this is filled with?
NOT COFFEE, that’s what.
Boston is currently in a state of emergency.
Yesterday afternoon, one of the city’s main water pipes was damaged, and the water supply was declared unsafe for drinking (or brushing your teeth with).
Now, I didn’t complain when I had to pay $3.29 for a bottle of water with which to brush my teeth.
I didn’t complain when the dining halls...

"The Jury Pool: Dive In"
Just one nugget from the paragraph long inspirational quote read to us by the chief justice of the Suffolk Superior Courthouse.
Jury duty this morning was … interesting. I got up at 6, was on the T by 7:25 (after stealing a peanut butter sandwich and goldfish from the dining hall for lunch), and in the line for the metal detector by 7:50. I got my assigned number (226) and was in my seat...
The "PROM" Album
If you have a facebook and you are between the ages of 16 and 25, you probably have some high school seniors rabidly posting their prom albums online.
And if you don’t yet, you will. Soon.
Children,
I understand how excited you are to drive out to Surfside and drink and smoke and sex all over the place with anybody who’s around, but PLEASE don’t clutter my newsfeed with...
A Playlist Worth Sharing
“The Way” by Fastball came on my shuffle during work, and it reminded me of Dad (and my childhood) so I clicked that lovely little Genius button.
“The Way” - Fastball
“Someday” - Sugar Ray
“Wonderful” - Everclear
“All For You” - Sister Hazel
“Pinch Me” - Barenaked Ladies
“Meet Virginia” - Train
